Theory Developer
Dr. Siegel is a member of Claremont Graduate University's social psychology faculty. He also co-directs the Health Behavior Research MA program. Dr. Siegel’s research utilizes classic and contemporary social psychological and communication frameworks to explain and influence a range of health behaviors such as drug abuse, organ donation, and depression. His work on goal disruption theory represents a ten-year exploration that began with his reading of Tolman’s Purposive Behavior of Animals and Men.
